Born of a Journey
A Tribute to Cuban Music and Friendship
With flute in hand and an open heart, a musician's journey to Havana unfolded into a transformative collaboration with some of Cuba’s most exceptional talents. What began as a search for new experiences quickly evolved into an inspiring exchange of artistry, friendship, and shared passion. This unique synergy became the foundation of a project that blends fresh creativity with the timeless depth of Latin musical traditions.
Repeated visits to this enchanting island have provided boundless inspiration, culminating in an album designed to evoke memories and celebrate the voices, compositions, and lyrical presence of Cuban artistry. It is a heartfelt tribute to the melodies, stories, and people who have left an indelible mark on this journey.

The art of Manglar
Ramón Rodríguez Fernández, known as "Manglar," is a self-taught painter and engraver born in Pinar del Río, Cuba, in 1958. With a profound artistic vision rooted in Cuban identity, Manglar has made a significant mark on the international art scene. He has held eight solo exhibitions and contributed his work to major collective exhibitions featuring Cuban artists in Italy, Germany, the United States, Spain, Slovenia, and Belgium.
Manglar’s artistry captures the raw beauty and complexity of Cuba, drawing viewers into a world both intimate and universal. His work, often informed by the landscapes and textures of his homeland, continues to resonate with audiences worldwide, solidifying his place as a compelling voice in Cuban contemporary art.
